#EBITDA was "created" by analysts and investors to create a "picture" of a company that allegedly provides "a more accurate reflection of a company's core earnings potential" and yet it doesn't.
When you examine what is "removed" from these reports that is included in traditional profit & loss and cash-flow statements you come to realize this very quickly.
Despite this you will continue to see these EBITDA reports being touted even when a company that has a "positive" EBITDA ends up failing.
Just another reminder to #doyourownresearch and #investwisely
