Integrity Of Your Heart Psalms 78:70-72 “He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds: From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance. So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.” Psalm 78 is a bit of a history lesson of Israel and closes out with one of the reasons God chose David to be king of Israel. The reason stated is God knew David would feed His people with the integrity of his heart and guide them with the skillfulness of his hands. Note, the attitude of one’s integrity of heart comes before the actions of one’s hands. Sadly, integrity of heart seems to be a past desire and past ambition of yesteryear’s leaders. Our homes, churches, businesses, and country would all benefit from its leaders having integrity of heart. We who are Christians ought to be leading the way of people in America who have integrity of heart. To me a Christian with integrity of heart is one who has innocence before God. What resides in the human heart no man can see. But God can see it and He saw in David a man whose heart would have integrity and whose hands would guide His people. Proverbs 20:7 “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” Does God see that you have integrity of your heart?
