While many employees would love to work for an owner/manager with the mentality shown in this image, it is the exception and not the "rule" and will likely be so for the foreseeable future. Why? Because of long-standing management culture and the resurgence of employee performance issues created by the current culture in most of the world. If employees really want this kind of owner/manager mentality to be the norm then they need to start with making themselves worth it. For those who already are worth it, FANTASTIC!! For those who aren't, get your act together and make yourself worth it via your actions and not just because you "feel" you are worth it.
