Peter Ebert (Member 42,807) was on Spiekeroog, one of the East Frisian Islands off Germany’s North Sea coast, which was once a hiding place for pirates. Peter took a sunset walk along the beach after a period of rainfall. A flotilla of Cumulonimbus clouds circled as Stratocumulus castellanus sails billowed on the horizon. It seems the pirate patrols around these shores still continue.
