I really love this winter photo of an icy road with red skies. I'm not sure why the skies turned out red in this photo but my guess is that the camera tried it's best to pull out as much colour it could from within the darkness. As Red is at the far end of the spectrum, I guess that it started trying to pick out the reds first, even though we couldn't see this with the naked eye. If I had left the shutter open long enough , the red would slowly become green and the houses would have been brighter, but we would have lost the 'night' effect. Always something to learn from old dopey Hiram. 😉🙏🌠
