Jesus Christ! The Difference! In my Bible reading from the book of Proverbs this morning I was reminded a great truth. There is not only a difference between the righteous and evil person’s deeds, there is difference in their appearance and will be a difference in their end. Note: Proverbs 11:3 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” Proverbs 11:5-6 “The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.” Proverbs 11:18-19 “The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.” Sin and righteousness has an effect on our outward appearance, our life, and our end. Have any of you ever seen a before and after picture of person who before was lost, bound by sin, and then after they were saved they didn’t even look like the same person? I have, and to me such a picture is a testimony to the life changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ makes many differences in one’s life when He becomes their Saviour and Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:17“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Ephesians 4:22, 24 “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;… And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
