This girl introduced herself to me this morning. She was in the yard when I let Dixie out and she chased her to her boundry on the driveway. I told Dixie she was a good girl, because I don't want the deer in my yard and especially in my garden. They have about totaled it all ready. I had barely finished praising Dixie when the deer returned to my yard charging straight at Dixie. I am so frustrated with the deer eating my garden produce, when I saw her charging toward Dixie, I grabbed my walking stick and raised it as I ran toward her yelling Do you want to fight? Come on! Dixie at this time is running circles around her. So, what does she do? She comes to me and introduces herself as she nuzzles up to me. I couldn't be angry at such a sweetheart, so I told Dixie to back off. The next thing I see is Dixie and the deer playing together. Oh my gosh! I am going to have to figure out something else besides Dixie to protect my garden from the wildlife, unless she will just keep them busy playing instead of eating.
