🎂🎉🤘 REBEL RADIO TURNS 30 YEARS OLD, TOMORROW! 🎂🎉🤘So tonight, for this "Tear-It-Up-Tuesday", we're going to have to do something special, to properly acknowledge this major milestone! What's up, REBEL RADIO Family? It's Kevin Smith checking in with you, on the eve of our beloved station's 30 birthday. On July 10th, 1994, REBEL RADIO first went on the air, and is still going strong today! And the person who deserves about 95% of the thanks and congratulations for that fact, is Mr. Scott Davidson. He has sacrificed AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT to keep the station going, all this time! More than most of us realize, I think. And I, for one, feel quite privileged to be considered part of the team! So I figured, the least I can do, is put together a special show, for this "Tear-It-Up-Tuesday". We'll get things started at 7:00 PM, Chicago Time, and go straight through, 'til Midnight. First up will be an opening 6-Pack of songs, specially selected by listener, Dean Koukal, with a theme we started, during last week's show. One that you can also take part in, in an upcoming show. I'll explain on the air. After that, a few new releases by: Category 7, Flotsam & Jetsam and HammerFall. The main feature is next, and it's going to be all about the best Metal, of the last 30 years! I have a list, put out by Loudwire Magazine, which includes the #1 Metal songs, for every year, that REBEL RADIO has been on the air. So, we'll start with 1994, and work our way all the way up, to this year! It'll be a night of nothing but the best stuff...literally! 🤘😆🤘 I've got more planned, as well.
