"ARE YOU PREPARED FOR YOUR BRIDEGROOM?" "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." (Revelation 19:7)It's always heart-warming to watch engaged couples as they prepare for the coming day when they will exchange their vows and become man and wife. Whenever they're together, their eyes are fixed on each other. Couples that are engaged spend much of their time learning all they can about the other and how to please and bring joy to their intended for the years that lie ahead. Their days are filled with thoughts for each other.Each day that we are blessed to breathe God's air is an opportunity to prepare ourselves to meet our Bridegroom with Whom we will spend eternity together. Do we have eyes only for Him, or do the things of the world find us staring with an envious delight? Are we devoting ourselves only to Him and learning all we can about our Heavenly Intended? What can we do today that would cause His face to smile with great joy knowing that His beloved is eagerly anticipating all that He has in store for them? Well, I can think of no better way than to spend time in that inspired Love Letter of His which we are to hide in our hearts.Friends, let's take our Lord at His word then and wrap our faith around everything He has promised that will ready our meeting when we hear that announcement of Heaven's most glorious feast, "For the marriage of the Lamb is, come."
