Time Will Not Wait!Ephesians 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Colossians 4:5 “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” Psalms 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years move on. Time waits for no one. It is one of the few blessings of life that we cannot hoard up. We are told to redeem it and to number our days. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 7:29 that “time is short”. In relation to time moving on, the Bible reminds us that the days are evil. The reference to “them that are without” speaks of those lost, unsaved, outside the body of Christ. We are told to number our days. Why? That “we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”. The days are evil and people are lost. The church is here to witness for Christ, but time will not allow us to be here forever. Unwise decisions and unwise actions lead to wasted opportunities and wasted opportunities is time wasted. Think of the truth, yesterday is gone and you cannot get it back. Today we will all have fresh opportunities and new privileges for God. May we walk today in wisdom. God may have for us a divine appointment.
