A personal note.....I've always dreaded the question, "where are you from?" I moved so many times (too damn much) throughout my life. I went to more schools than there are grades to pass (23 to be exact). I've never known how to answer and usually just said "depends on what year". I've never felt that I was "from" anywhere or belonged anywhere. I have been very blessed to make some true lifelong friends over the years in a few different states and have been able to keep them in my life. They have become family. Now things have changed. We moved to Frederick a few years ago and over this past year I feel like we have really become part of this community. I've fallen in love with Frederick. I wish we'd have moved here a lot of years ago, but we're here now. I feel like I belong. Like roots are being planted. I love where we live, I love this community and all who are a part of it. I love my neighbors and I have a job I think I've wanted my whole life. If the community doesn't mind (and too bad if you do cuz you're stuck with me now ?) I'd like to be "from" Frederick and I want to stay here. I'm Amanda Hubbs & I'm from Frederick, SD ?
