Proverbs 28:14 - Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall f a l l into mischief. HAPPY: The h a p p y person is the man who knows what it means to 'f e a r' the Lord. Fear does not mean to be scared but has the connotation of respect. Those who have no f e a r, will f a l l into various forms of mischief which brings c o n s e q u e n c e s from your mischief. Now, there is a point when your c o n s e q e n c e s from your mischief will have the affect of increasing your h a r d e n e s s of your senses for what is right and wrong.Once h a r d e n you will be the last to realize it while others can easily see that your life is off track. Now, the longer you live with h a r d n e s s of heart the longer it will take for you to realize it or for you to t u r n back to God.The harden h e a r t is very protective of the cause(s) that produced the affect of hardness. Now, measure your happiness to see if it is from God or this world. God's happiness will always be present no matter your circumstances, but the happiness from the world is always temporary and you need more of it to maintain a level of happiness.
