Left-Faction Liberali sound lockdown alarms, supervise curfews, and wear state-mandated muzzles like religious veils. "Don't question," they say, "just believe." The hospitals are half-full and the people hide in fear of the Empress' New Plague. The overflow units outside the hospitals remain empty and nobody asks why. Propagandists call journalists carpetbaggers and accuse them of lowering professional standards. Education is on the side of fear, ignorance...and sleep-away cyber-school. Civil-rights workers boycott for extra censorship. Hipster-protesters are the pool-boys of power-brokers. Old acquaintances become new strangers. By taking the road of "By Any Means Necessary," to get what it wants, the Left-Faction has betrayed its principles and has become everything it once loathed. "Light another match, go start anew," the Mystery Tramp says, "because it's all over now, Baby Blue."
