Human contact is such an important component in life. I have seen peoples whole countenance and attitude change just because of a hug. This is something else that has been "taken away" in this crazy year that we are living in. These "lock-downs" with lack of human contact have contributed to the increase in depression and suicide across the nation this year.A hug tells someone "I value you". In today's world where it is everybody for himself and people are all about "self-mportance" a hug validates a person and lets them know that they are important to you.So today I am sending out a "virtual hug" (if you want/need a real one, come to church on Sunday morning).
