Psalm 59:12 (KJV) - [For] the sin of their mouth [and] the words of their lips let them even be TAKEN in their PRIDE: and for cursing and lying [which] they speak.PRIDE: This word is used in 46 verses in the King James Bible. Every time the word p r i d e is used it’s negative. Though the word p r i d e can have a positive usage: “I’m proud to be an American”, God never teaches us to say: “I’m proud to be a Christian or I’m proud of my church”. I’m bless to be a Christian and I’m bless to have a church. Man’s carelessness with vocabulary and language hinders man’s understanding of how this word p r i d e should be understood and used. God never used p r i d e in a positive way, because He fully understands the DANGERS of pride. Therefore, learn from God and let Him educate you of the dangers of p r i d e.
