BREAKING: Georgia appeals court pauses Trump election interference case as it takes up his appeal to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
The Georgia Court of Appeals ruled that the case must be paused while Trump seeks to remove Willis.
This means the case will likely not go to trial until after the presidential election, a huge win for Trump.
The pause comes after Willis' romance with then-special prosecutor Nathan Wade was revealed.
Judge Scott McAfee ruled at the time that Willis could remain only if Wade resigned which he did.
