THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO GENESIS 1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gen. 1:1) First, you were born. "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep . . ." (Gen. 1:2) But you were a sinner by nature and were in spiritual darkness. ". . . And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." (Gen. 1:2) So the Spirit of God moved and convicted your heart. "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." (Gen. 1:3) Then you believed on Jesus Christ, the Light of the World (John 8:12). "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." (Gen. 1:4) Now you live a good and separated life for the glory of God, no longer walking in the darkness of sin.
