Democrat CA Rep Adam Schiff rightfully scolded the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Israeli PM Netanyahu saying: “The ICC has no jurisdiction or standing in this matter, and this action will only serve to further jeopardize efforts to free the hostages, and to deliver a propaganda boost to Hamas.” Glad to see that even Adam Schiff is speaking out against the reptilian ICC's mythical equivelancy between Hamas's mass raping, butchering and burning of young girls (while parents were forced to watch before subsequently getting butchered themselves) and Israel's response to them. It's unfortunate that Amal Clooney was one of the ICC-convened panelists advocating for the arrest of PM Netanyahu wherein she took functional illiteracy to new soul-sucking heights by labeling Israel's response as "genocide." https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/20/world/middleeast/amal-clooney-icc-gaza.html Genocide is the systematic extermination of a religious, ethnic or national group versus the collateral casualties occurring in Gaza as Israel pursues Hamas for their targeted mass-raping and slaughtering of young Jewish girls. Genocide is what the Germans did during WWII when they methodically erased six million Jews via gas chambers and ovens followed by using their bones to construct furniture and their skin to make lampshades. Gaza has resulted in heart-wrenching collateral casualties while Israel pursues the genocidal force that targeted their kids by design. There is a huge difference between the two - unless language is no longer tethered to the meanings of the words that comprise it. Fortunately, the ICC has no jurisdiction in either Israel or the US.
