"BLESSINGS FOR THE SMALL AND GREAT." "He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great." (Psalm 115:13)Now that's a promise that all of us can say Amen to. Be we small or great, our hearts can continually beat with joy unspeakable when we consider the blessings of the Almighty are upon those that fear Him.You know, we often forget that God cares for the small and insignificant things. Let us be ever mindful that His watchful eye is always noting with great care every single thing He created. And yes, even at this very hour, He still has a Holy regard for the sparrows in their falling upon the ground.Note how the Lord arranges the order in this little verse. He says, "both SMALL and GREAT" as opposed to both GREAT and SMALL. That wasn't written that way by accident. He wrote it like that on purpose for you and me. Is there not then a word of good cheer for those of us who seemingly hold a humble station in life or who are low in means? For you see, the Lord Jesus purchased every rich blessing we will ever need with His precious blood; and with every grace the Holy Spirit provides us, even though it be only in bud, we can rest assured that it bears a blessing within.Friends, I trust that each of us will continue to happily seek and secure His daily blessings upon our lives. Again, be we small or great, He will indeed make our wee faith here grand and our wonderful future there glorious!
