Rusty old gatepost made about 50 years ago. Dry stone wall in the background. Even 50 years ago we had pride in our craftsmanship. What do we have now ?🇬🇧

Not much produced lasts now. We need the knowledge of the craftsman of long ago. People don’t know what the old tools are for anymore. A day will come when they wish they knew.

Christ knows how old that iron is. Id say at least 50 years. Very poor that kids thesedays are more interested in computers than stuff like ironmongering.
