My Recipe for my Cheese Bread
2 1/4 Tea. Yeast, I use instant
3/4 Tea. Granulated Garlic
1 Tea. Salt
2 Tbl. Sugar
3 cups Bread Flour
5 Tbl. Butter, Margarine, Crisco, your choice

1/3 c water
1/2 cup milk, low fat, whole, reduced fat, your choice
1 whole raw egg
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
I put all of the the first 6 ingred. into my mixer and mix until the Butter is sort of incorporated in to the flour fixture, kind of like you do when you make a pie dough crust. I then add the Water and Milk, it has been heated to lukewarm, hot enough but not hot enough to kill your yeast, mix up a bit then add your egg and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and get it mixed until you are happy with the mixture. I use a Bosch Mixer and sometime I mix for 5 minutes, it is silky smooth when done.
Remove from bowl and place into another bowl and let rise until doubled. Or just leave in your bowl and cover and let it double.
When doubled put on your workbench and roll out into a large square and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Roll up like a cinnamon roll. I slice it long wise and twist the two long pieces and just sort of twist it to get it into a a baking pan. Bake 350 for 45 min. Temp should measure at least 190 degrees.
