When you raise your hands in prayer that is also significant, but your life is right with God and it signifies that you are worshipping him in holiness: 1 Timothy 2:8 (KJV) - I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.The other positions can be accomplished throughout the day. Prayers do not have to be long and they shouldn’t be prayers of always asking for what you want in life. They should be for:1. Thankfulness for your salvation. To save you from hell was no small matter for God. 2. Thankfulness for your church/pastor. God had ordained both to be part of your life. God did not ordain you to sit at home. 3. Thankfulness for the Bible. Many languages in the world still do not have a Bible. 4. Pray for your family and friends. 5. Pray for your country that God will have mercy on us and raise up preachers who will preach revival. 6. Pray that you can be a blessing to others. The joy God will give you in being a blessing will be real. 7. Pray that you can be a witness to others. Some are waiting for a friend to tell them what to do and that’s an opportunity for you to give your testimony. 8. Prayers are times of fellowship with God so when you are praying about the above, more will even come to your heart as you converse with the God.Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
