Rare view of BHA employee inspecting primers. Few see inside our plant, but we visually inspect primers before we load them into ammo. No kidding. We find a defect (damaged cup, missing mix, missing anvil, double anvil, anvil sitting unevenly, or foil hanging out) about one out of every 250,000 primers. Some ask “Is it worth it, to prevent only one defect in 250,000 rounds?” YES, IT IS! Especially to the person who might otherwise experience a misfire. We know a life might depend on any round we make. It matters because we care! #QuestForPerfection
