In February my mini me bought her first car at 19yo. On her own. No down payment, no co signer. I am so proud of her. I homeschooled her and taught her the value of credit and honoring commitments and we started building her credit at 15. She has since turned 20 but is almost done paying her car note off already and has a significant savings built up. She is looking at buying a house when her car is paid in full. Don't leave teaching your kids valuable lessons to public schools... they will fail them EVERY time.
