Make no mistake, what is going on in our country (& has been since it's birth) is not about Republican vs Democrat, Right vs left, capitalism vs socialism or Trump/Pence vs Biden/Harris. It's about good vs evil, God vs satan. We have been in the middle of a spiritual battle for our souls since satan was cast down out of heaven and he tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. This is one thing Bidens slogan got right(in pics) but what matters is who are you rooting for? Have you given your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior? Have you accepted God's gift of salvation? If you have then you're on the side of the winning team so to speak. Anyone who rejects God by rejecting salvation through Jesus Christ alone is unfortunately rooting for the other guy...the loser, satan. Some without even realizing it. Jesus said " He who is not with Me is against Me," (Matthew 12:30a) You see, satan wants your soul. That would mean one less soul in heaven that was sold out for Jesus. Why? Is someone keeping score and whoever gets the most souls wins? No. God is very clear in His Word that satan will eventually be cast in the lake of fire. ( Revelation 20:10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.) It also says "1 Peter 5Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." He is after your soul simply for spite. He hates God so therefore he hates those who choose God's side. Hell was never intended for us. It was where satan would eventually be put by God for his rebellion against Him. Satan is so evil that he's building a team to take with him. All For Spite! He cares nothing for those he seeks and devours. There is no love for those from him. However on the other side you find a start contrast. Roman's 5:8 says " But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He demonstrated...He didnt just say it, He acted upon it. He gave His only begotten son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. That is the gospel message in 1 verse. We are sinners saved by the AMAZING grace of Jesus Christ who willingly surrendered His life for us. Who willingly took our penalty for our sin upon Himself so that we could spend eternity with our Father in heaven and not end up on that losing team in a place of eternal torment. THAT IS LOVE? God chose every single one of us. He wished NO ONE should perish but that ALL would have eternal life. No one was left out. But many unfortunately reject what has already been given for them. Don't reject it , embrace the salvation God has waiting for you today. We are not promised tomorrow so today could be your last chance to do so. Don't play for the losing team because it doesnt end well and the game play is deceitful. The coach lies to you causing you to believe you're winning when in reality the game is as already won & the winner has already been declared. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms?
