I lost my nephew, tragically & violently on the 7th of this month on I-10, in San Antonio, Texas. (for the eclipse.)The city celebrates their TxDOT’s HERO roadside assistance program, but in this instance they did NOTHING to protect Trevor and his dog after he broke down. No lane closure, no flares, no cones, NO triangle hazard reflectors, NO flashing lights from the HERO truck, nothing! They left. No response as to why he was left alone.They LEFT HIM out there, stuck, between the highway and the frontage road. Traffic coming from both sides of him, see video, for {{6}} hours before he was struck and killed by a large propane delivery truck at 10pm.
