The Spirit of Antichrist 1 John 2:18 - “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John 4:3 - “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” There will come into the world in the last days the Antichrist, but did you catch what 1 John 4:13 said, “that spirit of antichrist” “now already is it in the world”. Here, in the world today we are flooded with that spirit of antichrist. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 tells us, “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:…” A lot can be said by the characteristics of the antichrist. They are many, but the character trait that heads them all is that which denies that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (1 John 2:22, 23). The spirit of antichrist says there is no need of Christ. He is not real, He did not come, and we can have peace without God. How many of you really believe that you can have peace apart from the Lord Jesus Christ? If you really believe that, you have been deceived by the spirit of the antichrist that is presently in the world today. Yes, it “is the last time” and we can know this is true because the spirit of antichrist is already here.
