7th Grade Social Studies lesson on forms of government ... at Cuthbertson Middle School in Waxhaw, NC (Fall 2020). It was the principal's opinion on this lesson that the teacher has an open discussion after the reading material and students get to form their own opinions. The principal fails to see that the basis for a sound discussion is availability of all the facts. You can not form an EDUCATED opinion if your discussion is based on revised or biased history!!
