PURCHASED: Salvation is not 'man' based, but based upon the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.Only the Son of God could 'die' for your sin which means that excludes you.Only the blood can wash away your sins, which means that excludes you and your church.There is only ONE WAY to have your sins atoned for and that is through the blood: Romans 3:25 - Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; PROPITIATION, noun propisia'shon.1. The act of appeasing wrath and conciliating the favor of an offended person; the act of making propitious.2. In theology, the atonement or atoning sacrifice offered to God to assuage his wrath and render him propitious to sinners. Christ is the propitiation for the sins of men. Romans 3:25. 1 John 2:2.You nor your church are allowed to assist in atoning for your sins and to think or teach that you or the church can indicates that you and the church are co-Saviour which God will not allow: 1 Timothy 2:5 - For there is ONE God, and ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Never confuse Salvation with Service. Yes, we are to WORK for God through service - ministry, which is taught through the Bible word: Sanctification. Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works, which God hath before ordained that we should WALK in them. Never confuse your service to God for God's PROPITIATION for your sin.
