There was a time when wetbacks were afraid to commit a crime for fear of being deported. Am I that old?

Honestly, I would much rather that thieves show up at the homes of the wealthy instead of targeting the poor, usually the case. The wealthy are the ones who pull the strings of politics and are more likely to have set in place the reasons for so many immigrants.
