I refuse to use self checkout because it takes jobs away from people.

I switched to using self-checkout simply out of personal preference. If I walked up to a regular check out line with 20 items, it was a disadvantage to me to walk out with 10 or 15 plastic bags when I could reduce that to 3 or 4 bags if I did it myself. Just makes sense to me.
