Matthew 16:18 - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.BUILD MY CHURCH: Jesus has not forgotten his promise to 'build his church'.However, Man tries to 'build his own church' which differs from from Christ building His church.A Christ centered church is a gospel preaching church.A Christ centered church is a mission church.A Christ centered church suffers for righteousness sake without fear of persecution.A Christ centered church is a humble church but at the same time 'bold' to preach on sin and its affects.A Christ centered church is ALIVE with testimonies of God's saving grace and not a church with pretense of liveliness through theater style stage performances. A Christ centered church weeps over sin instead of acting as if they have no sin.A Christ centered church weeps over the lost instead of walking pass sinners as if they are better then the sinner. A Christ centered church will not only be willing to give $$s for the church or Gospel sake but will give with an open heart so that others can hear the gospel.A Christ centered church is filled with prayerful Christians and not bickering, fighting, arguing, lazy, Sunday skipping Christians who can't get along with others since they always think they should be heard and if not, I will run to another church to repeat the same until they no longer have a desire to even be in a church. God will build your church into "His Church" when you apply His commandments to your Church. If not, all you have is a structure called a church and not a Church that God is building.No matter how bad the world gets, the "gates of hell" can NOT stop us, but those lazy Christians, who tend to complain, can stunt God's church until all that is left are buildings who host carnal believers who do not even deserve to be called: Christians. Don't give the 'gates a hell' a chance to divide your church. Don't play the devil's advocate. If you have: REPENT before God has to judge you for dividing a Church.
