Colossians 1:12 - Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:INHERITANCE: I'm ready to 'meet' Jesus, are you?First of all, to be ready to meet Jesus means you are SAVED and not just religious. The religious might go to church and sing in the choir or even teach Sunday School classes, but they are still just religious and trusting in their merit to get them to heaven instead of trusting 'by' faith in Jesus finished work at Calvary.Secondly, if you are ready to meet Jesus, you are 'excited' about your Christian Faith: (1) If Your Bible has no importance to you then you are not 'ready' to meet Jesus. (2) If going to church has no importance to you then you are not 'ready' to meet Jesus. (3) If complaining and bickering is your daily activity then you are not 'ready' to meet Jesus.(4) If keeping your wealth to yourself and not giving to God's work (Local Church) and missions (Spreading the Gospel) is your habit then you are not 'ready' to meet Jesus.(5) If you can not 'sing' from the heart while others are singing then you are not 'ready' to meet Jesus.(6) If all you can talk about is: sports, politics, economy, work, yourself, and not about Jesus do you think you are 'ready' to meet Jesus?God is 'preparing' an eternal home for all even though you are not 'ready'. For 'some' it will be heaven, but for 'others' it will be HELL.If you are SAVED: God is 'preparing' something greater then you could ever imagine. So, don't be foolish and live for this world and all its attractions that will not be part of your eternity.John 14:3 And if I go and PREPARE a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
