John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. READY or NOT - one day you will die and at that time it will be too late to make things right with God.MISTAKES that people make while living here on earth. All are concerned about the 'after life' but they never do anything about it, why?(1) I'm religious which is the most deceptive idea that you can possess. Being religious means you know how to employ all the rhetoric that Christian use but you are only an 'actor' and not a believer. Judas was the best 'actor' and probably won his 'Oscar' for acting.(2) People will say its a personal matter and no ones business but theirs, which is half-truth. It is personal but its personal to Jesus since he died for all and its personal to the preacher since God calls us to tell you God's Personal Story.(3) People will attempt to believe they are 'good' which is half-truth. Yes, you are probably a good son, father, brother, uncle, worker, friend, etc., but you also a good SINNER. How many lies have you've told and fooled everyone?(4) People will assume that their 'good' will outweigh there 'bad'. This thought cannot be found anywhere in the scriptures. If God looks for 'your' goodness, then it would have to equal the goodness of his "Son - Jesus Christ" and no one can master their goodness to reach the level of God's Son!(5) People will think that as long as they have an 'association' with churches and other Christians and just blend in then just as they fooled man they can also fool God. Being able to blend in with the church never equates to Salvation. (6) People will think their 'familiarity' with Bible topics and church songs, and church rituals equate to salvation, but simple Bible knowledge is also possessed by devils, so what differs you from their knowledge?(7) People will think, I can 'wait' and get right with God later which is like playing 'Russian Roulette'. You might be able to do this, but if you drop dead of a heart attack, then you missed your opportunity.(8) People will think that God is 'all' merciful and won't send me to hell since I never did anything horrible. You've mistaken God's attributes. Yes, he's merciful but his mercy is to be realized and accepted NOW and not later. After you refuse his mercy NOW, then later he must judge you for refusing his love and mercy.I could list more but if this isn't enough to expose your deceitful thinking then you possess the 'curse of Cain' which means you've written you own theology and created your own view of God of who you want him to be and how you want him to act.The god you've created is not the God of the Bible.
