"HYPOCRITES IN THE CHURCH" I have little patience with people who use the "hypocrites in the church" argument because I think they are lying and aren't really seeking the will of God anyway. Allow me to illustrate. Suppose you are hungry and you decide to eat lunch at Pat's Pizza Parlor. While there, you have a bad experience and decide to not eat at Pat's again. Does this mean that you'll never eat pizza again? Probably not. Does this mean that you'll never eat out again? No, you will eat out again many times. You will do so because you will be hungry many times. You might never return to Pat's, and that's understandable, but you will seek and find a suitable place to eat because you're hungry and you want to be filled. So it is with those who truly seek the Lord. Hypocrites and other negatives cannot stop them. They hunger for righteousness and they must be filled. If they aren't filled at one church, they will seek another, and another, and so on. The ones who stop after only one or two churches are not hungering for righteousness. They're full of themselves and looking for cheap excuses. They'll never find the will of God because they aren't really seeking. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for THEY shall be filled." (Mat. 5:6)
