We must all find our own way in life. We can do it knowing that we are not alone, however, and we all have the second chance at eternal life.This verse focuses on the resurrection of Christ. There is one section that I find very important and that is mentioning specifically to tell Peter that Christ is resurrected. Why is this important?Peter had been the most loyal of disciples for Christ. In the hour of Christ's reckoning, however, Peter did not stand up for his beloved Christ. He abandoned Jesus on the cross and had to have been feeling so guilty and as if he had betrayed Jesus. Have you ever felt similar? As if you should have stood up for something or someone and failed to do so? I think we all know the feeling.The Lord does not turn his back on us even if we turn our backs on him as Peter did. Peter is specifically mentioned to be told, to be comforted, because Jesus knows what he must be feeling. We all can be given a second chance, and third chance, and forth...all we must do is ask.We have all failed in our lives. We are all guilty of not doing all that we can and all that we should for our family, friends, God, and even ourselves. But God always forgives us. He always gives us another chance. Go tell others the good news of the Gospel. Thanks be to God.
