The task of preaching is never an easy vocation. Standing in the pulpit, he is always before the eyes of all but if he’s right with God, the preacher eyes are always on the Holy Scriptures. The message can be doctrinal, encouraging, but many time correctional which brings frowns upon the faces of many in the church. His life is 24/7. When needed at the hospital, he ministers to suffering. When needed at the jail he comforts the wayward. When needed at someone home, he never knows what awaits him but he goes knowing that he is needed. The Preacher - The Man of God - The Servant of God: The next time you see him, remember he deserves to be honored:1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV) - Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
