Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!Christ’s resurrection marks the forgiveness of our sins and our spiritual rebirth; the possibility of eternal life is born. "Why seek ye the living among the dead?"What is death if it’s sting has been removed? If we know that we have been granted eternally life, why would we be afraid of it? I am reminded of Romans 8:6: "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." It is possible to be spiritually dead even if we are alive if we are carnally minded. Do not seek the dead amongst the living! Be spiritually minded and you shall be granted eternal life, as Christ was.Where do we seek answers in difficult times? We often turn to the carnal pleasures because we are short-sighted and weak. If someone close to us dies, does this strengthen our relationship with God? Often the opposite is true, and we turn to worldly pleasures to try to soothe the pain. This has the exact opposite effect. We must realize that Christ is alive, that he has been reborn for us, and that we too must carry on living. We mustn’t be tempted by the flesh, for to choose that is to choose death; to choose the Spirit is to choose life. Choose life!Apply the message of rebirth to everything in your life: your career can be resurrected, your relationships can be reborn, your heart can live anew! What a positive and influential message can be gained from the life of Christ. Blessed are all of us that come in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. He is risen!
