What did not work with the first child would probably not be used with other children.Advisors, counselors, and psychologists have suggested methods to correct a problem, only to learn that it was the wrong advice. People go to fortune-tellers and palm readers only to get counsel that does not keep them from making a mistake.Man has tried all in an attempt to get the right advice. He has spared no expense and hurdled high obstacles to gain what he thought was truth.God says His Words, preserved in the Bible, are just the words for which man has been searching. The Truth from the Word of God has been under man’s nose for millennia. His advice is guaranteed to be successful. You have God’s Word on it!The Words of advice within the pages of the Bible are pure as silver, tempered by fire seven times.In Biblical days, the silver ore was smelted in an earthen-type furnace. Bellows intensified the surrounding fire to temperatures that would melt and burn off the ore’s impurities. Each time the silver was passed through the heating process, more foreign minerals would burn off, leaving behind a pure, more valuable metal.God says His Word is tested, trustworthy, and as valuable as much processed silver. His Word is His preserved guidance for everything from raising children to living the godly life. It is His guiding plan to Heaven and to solving the smallest squabble. The Bible is pure and reliable. What an excellent place to get your advice.
