In my research I've uncovered the oddest art/map I've ever seen. It appears to be indicating that the subset of the Earth's surface is a plane and that this flat surface is inside a giant eyeball. The firmament in this case would be the outer surface of that eye and that the sun appears to be a light source that travels along something like an optic nerve from the back of the eyeball. Apologies, the resolution doesn't allow one to read most of the text. There appears to be a magic mushroom in the upper-right part of the images.Presumably, this thing hangs somewhere at the U.N. :scratches head:
