Anyone who thinks you can phase out fossil fuels using solar, wind or any other process does not know how a simple shovel is made. It requires at least one shovel to mine and extract the raw materials necessary to build windmills, solar panels or even more shovels. It takes coal to heat the steel removed from the ground using a shovel to make another shovel. It also requires electricity to operate the machinery to form the shovel. I won't even begin to describe the process it takes to extract the material necessary to build the backhoes, earth movers and trucks that are actually used to extract the material and transport the finished shovel. #Trump2020
