1 John 2:15 - Love not the WORLD, neither the things that are in the WORLD. If any man love the WORLD, the love of the Father is not in him.16 For all that is in the WORLD, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the WORLD.17 And the WORLD passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.WORLD: This world is not eternal. This world is no good and never will be until Jesus returns to rule and reign.In the future, there will be a New Heaven and a New Earth and until that day, this world will have a bad effect upon all since it lies in Sin and not Righteousness.Now, are you 'tied' down by this world or are you setting your affections on things above?Colossians 3:2 - Set your affection on things ABOVE, not on things on the earth.
