On this day in 1967, Gordon Lightfoot's Canadian Railroad Trilogy, was broadcast for the first time on CBC.Lightfoot took only 3 days to write & compose the song.It was later released on his album, The Way I Feel, in April 1967.It was a favourite song of Queen Elizabeth II.
