(Isaiah 9:6)"For unto us a child is born." Oh, what a Marvelous Statement, introducing a Mighty Saviour, bringing a Miraculous Salvation!How gentle His coming! Who would have had such imagination to conceive that God Almighty would have appeared among men as a little child? Who would have conceived something so sensational, so phenomenal? The Great God of the ages, that's Who!Oh, how Wonderful indeed is His name. He is The Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. It is wonderful to love Him, wonderful to learn from Him, and wonderful to lean on Him."Unto us a Son is given." This Son is the superlative Gift of God. The love that bestows such a gift is all-complete and gracious. And the Son is given in order that we may all be born into sonship. It is the Son’s ministry to make sons. “Now are we the sons of God."Yes, friends, this Son is "Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." He came to us as a little Babe. but take a closer look and see the Creator of all creation Who emptied Himself. The Light of the World gave us light so that our lips are able to proclaim the Glorious Gospel of Grace.
