Hi All:Our 1/6/24 party must be postponed due to the murder of David Magill, "Mogie," the venue's (Mogie's Irish Pub and Magill Grille) Founder, on 12/21/23 while opening his establishment. Since the murder occurred at the business, and it is an ongoing criminal investigation, detectives will not permit the business to open until the investigation is concluded. It is still a crime scene and could be for days or even weeks to come. There just won't be enough time to prepare.The family wants us to hold this event there as this is what Mogie would have wanted. Despite my getting 5 calls offering to hold our planned 1/6/24 event at other venues, I believe we MUST keep it at Mogie's and honor this man that put his life on the line for us in agreeing to hold our event. We are far short of our $10,000.00 goal in raising money for his four children and to help keep the business alive.
