Luke 2:11 - For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. SAVIOUR: A child was born but he was more than just a baby but the SAVIOUR, which is Christ the Lord.Without his birth or knowledge of his birth, your understanding of his death will be hinder. He was Born to Die that we might have Salvation.Now, you can know 'of' his birth and still go to Hell.You, can know 'of' his death and still go to Hell.The Devils even know Jesus was Born and Died but expect that knowledge to secure them a place in heaven.Salvation is when you know 'why' he was born and 'how' that he died for YOU and not just that these events happened in history.Knowing the history of Jesus differs from you knowing him as your Saviour.Salvation is through the Saviour and not your church, not yourself and not your religious activities (works) but through his sacrificial death at Calvary.There is only 'one' way to Heaven and not two or three ways:John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
