The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members, wounded 171 crew members, and severely damaged the ship. John McCain's father covered it up & to this day they still claim it was an accident although it has been proven to be a fact that they tried to sink the ship so they could blame Egypt to get the U.S. Involved in that war.
