Philippians 3:9 (KJV) And be found in him, NOT having mine OWN righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:RIGHTEOUSNESS: You have none! It’s impossible for you to create it. Even our righteous works can never create personal righteousness. Never confuse God’s righteousness, which is an attribute that is only derived from pure Holiness, with your actions while attempting righteous works. It was Jesus who paid a debt he didn’t owe. It was me who owed a debt I could not pay. Thank goodness for the righteousness (God’s) which is of God by faith.
