Moses assured Israel, on the verge of their entering the promised land, that Jehovah would fight for them in conquering the land of Canaan even as he had fought for them in bringing them out of bondage in Egypt, by His mighty power. Even so, he whose power saved us will also enable us to live a victorious Christian life.
