FAMILY HISTORY...As a result of a job promotion.. In 1978 we moved from Sioux Falls SD to Rensselaer Indiana. Connie and Matt were flying into Chicago O'hare... I was running late from my new job so I hired a plane at the Rensselaer airport to fly me to O'hare to meet their plane.The pilot and I met them and we all made our way to the "Private Aircraft Terminal". Once on the tarmac we found our single engine Beachcraft was directly ahead of a 747 for take off. The flight controler instructed the 747 captain to "watch out for the little fellow" on take off. Next morning we went house hunting... found a beautiful 2 year old home built for a United Airlines Pilot and his Flight Attendant wife.... we lived in that home for 10 years.
